Rowing the atlantic
Last year 4 guys rowed the atlantic ocean (from New York to Rotterdam). They achieved the impossible: In 62 days they rowed (two hours rowing, two hours rest -including eating, drinking, shitting etc-) the ocean!
Gijs, Robert, Maarten, and Jaap are the guys who did it. 3 years of training, from scratch they learned to row, supported by their coach Max.
Today the premiere of the documentary was held in Rotterdam in Cinerama. It was one big get together of friends, family and acquaintances. Great to see everyone, but even better it was to see the documentary. Wow!
I have only one word for the guys: RESPECT.
I feel very lucky to know the guys (and especially Gijs)! Thanks for the day and movie.
